Our current approach

The core Passport Photo Code website does not use advertising cookies and does not set optional analytics cookies. The service may use strictly necessary storage or short-lived technical identifiers for security, load balancing and completing the photo request.

Strictly necessary technologies

These enable the service you ask for, protect it from misuse, remember an in-progress request or maintain security. They cannot be switched off through a consent banner because the requested feature would not work without them. Your browser may still let you block them, but parts of the service may fail.

If this changes

We will update this policy and ask for a clear choice before using non-essential analytics, advertising or similar device storage. Rejecting optional technologies will be as easy as accepting them.

Browser controls

You can view, delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Private browsing may reduce what is stored after you close the browser.
